Jara with beeIn Andalucia, the Southern part of Spain, a region where the arctic and tropical meet, we find Sierra Norte de Sevilla Natural Park. This Park is situated in the Northern part of the province of Sevilla, on the "skirts" of the Western part of the Sierra Morena. With its 165.000 hectares it is considered one of the biggest Natural Parks of Spain and since 2003 appointed Reserva de la Biosfera.
Its gentle slopes, climbing and descending between 400 meters and 650 meters with the highest top at 968 meters, offer a beautiful landscape. Sometimes rough and untouched, sometimes cultivated. One of the most characteristic sceneries is the pastureland dotted with cork and other oak trees, where sheep and the famous Iberian pigs feed. Where ever you go there's always this wonderful smell of aromatic plants. During the soft winters the rivers, streams and lakes collect the rainwater to offer you their coolness during the summer. The Park has a unique flora and fauna. You will find amongst many other species deer, wild boars, otters, ginetas. The birds, like the Blue Magpie and especially the birds of prey like the Griffon Vulture, the Monk Vulture and the Imperial Eagle, make the Sierra Norte de Sevilla Natural Park a very interesting region for birdwatching.

Turynat gladly offers you a wide variety of possibilities to explore the Sierra Norte de Sevilla Natural Park on your own and to discover its beauty and the magic of the Sierra Morena enjoying the silence of the often still untouched nature.
